Mint A Collectible Per User

Mint A Collectible Per User

In this tutorial, we will mint an asset to a user. We will use the demo project deployed in Deploy Your First Demo Project, add a user, and mint an asset to them from a template. Note that templates allow you to easily mint the same asset for multiple users.

Before we start, make sure to be on your project overview of your demo project.

Steps

Show Collection Templates

In your project overview, scroll to the list of collections for the project. You should see one collection. Note that you can see its name "Rare Weapons", and the blockchain address that it is deployed at.

Then, click on Show Templates.

Mint From A Template

You should now see two templates to mint from. We will mint a "Dancing Edge" collectible. To do so, click on the Mint button at the right of the "Dancing Edge".

Select User To Mint To

We want to mint the sword to the user with email address gamer.john.777@example.com. To do so, click on the checkbox next to that email address, and click on Mint Item. Notice that you can associate a name and an external id to the user email addresses that you add in your project.

Note that you will need to wait a few seconds as this is executing a blockchain transaction.

You should then get a notification that the collectible has successfully been minted, and see the "Minted Items" number increase by one.
